Here is an amazing section allows you to create the Slider with collection images. Customers can open to see the collection details and products.
Steps: In the theme editor (Customize) > Add section > Featured collections > Save.
Each Infor block is for one collection banner, you can choose Image preview, enter Heading, Description, Content on click.

Product item design and image options: ratio, size, position
Maximum products to show, Items per row and Space between items (horizontal and vertical)
Choose collections to show products when clicking on the banner, the order of collections here will match with the order of Infor block.
Items per row for desktop, tablet and mobile
Enable loop, config Autoplay speed
