The Extras section includes additional settings that help optimize your store’s UI behavior and display.
Choose the timezone used for Countdown.
Shop time zone: Uses your Shopify store timezone.
Users local time zone: Uses each visitor’s device/browser timezone.
Description: Controls how customer account information is displayed after customers log in.
Options:
Show avatar (On/Off)
On: Displays the customer avatar/account icon when logged in (placement depends on the theme).
Off: Hides the avatar and shows the default account icon/link only.
Note:
Avatar behavior depends on Shopify’s customer account type and how the theme renders it.
Description: Helps reduce cart abandonment by changing the browser tab title when visitors switch to another tab.
Options:
Use inactive tab message (On/Off)
On: When visitors leave the store tab, the tab title changes to a reminder message (may include emojis if supported).
Off: The tab title remains unchanged.
Important note:
This feature can’t be previewed in the Theme Editor. To test it:
Open the live store or a preview outside the editor
Switch to another browser tab and check whether the tab title changes
