Use collection link on vendor

You can display the vendor on the product card or product page. When a customer clicks on the vendor name, Shopify automatically redirects them to a system-generated vendor collection with a URL like:

https://yourstore.myshopify.com/collections/vendors?q=VendorName

This vendor collection is automatically created by Shopify, which means you cannot set a collection image or customize its content.

If you want to:

• Set a collection image, description,... for vendor collection

• Use a cleaner, SEO-friendly URL, such as:
  https://yourstore.myshopify.com/collections/VendorName

Please follow the steps in this document to create and configure a custom vendor collection.

1. Create a collection for the vendor

Create a Smart collection for each vendor. You do not need to manually add products. It automatically includes all products with the same vendor.

In this example, we will create a collection for the vendor Aurielle Skincare.

When creating the collection, you can also upload a collection image to use as the banner.

2. Select option 'Use collection link on vendor'

You will go to Theme Settings > Product > Enable Use collection link on vendor option > Save.
