1. Enable Cookie Law Info
Under EU privacy regulations, websites must make it clear to visitors what information about them is being stored. This specifically includes cookies. Turn on this option and the user will see an info box at the bottom of the page that your website is using cookies. To enable Cookie Law Info, from Sidebar > Theme settings > General settings > Shop section settings > Enable Cookie Law Info.
2. Settings
From Sidebar > Cookie Law Info.
- Text: Enter text for the cookie law info here.
- Button text “Accept” and Button text “More info”: You can change the text inside the button instead of “Accept” and “More info”.
Note: If you want your customers to get more detail about your store’s policy, you can choose your page that contains detailed information about your Privacy Policy and paste on the Link “More info”. The More Info button is only active when you select a link here.
- Cookie version: If you change your cookie policy information you can increase their version to show the popup to all visitors again.
- Day next show (n): If the user verifies, the next show will be after ‘n’ days. By setting n days (e.g. 30 days), the popup will appear again 30 days after it is turned off.
Design option: In addition, you can change the background color of the ‘Accept’ button and ‘Accept’ hover button.
- Theme settings: At the bottom of the Cookie law info sidebar, there is a Theme settings (child) that allows you to enable/disable this section.
